ASIC Publications: Evolving QA Requirements

At last year’s conference in Muscat, Dr Lawrence Watson (ASIC Qualifications Advisor and Chief Inspector) delivered a speech on ASIC Accreditation and the Changing Priorities of Quality Assurance in Education.

We have published the speech in three easily downloadable parts all available free from our UK website.

The publication of Dr Watson’s speech was something we promised at our last conference and we hope that you find it instructive:

In Part 1 Dr Watson’ explores recent developments and the changing global landscape of quality assurance in international education.

In Part 2 he covers the ASIC Standards and Areas of Operation alongside the first two conditions of the OfS framework to show how our accreditation puts providers in a strong position to meet evolving QA requirements worldwide.

In Part 3, he explores conditions four through to six; summarising how ASIC Accreditation helps providers to meet current and future QA requirements in education.

We hope that you find the document useful and if you have any questions please don’t hesitate to contact us.
