Our warmest wishes from everyone at ASIC for the New Year as we look back on 2020
Dear ASIC institutions, partners, and friends,
Our very best wishes to you all for the New Year.
It is impossible to sum up just how challenging this past year has been. Thank you to all those who have continued to provide quality education provision throughout the global pandemic.
We have used our time this year to:
- concentrate on providing help and support for ASIC accredited institutions;
- adapt our services to enable us to deliver them to you remotely;
- improve our existing services and create new opportunities for our institutions.
ASIC ended 2020 with 390 institutions (incl. faculties, candidacy, and membership).
We invite you to take a look at our video round-up of 2020, for even in the toughest year of our operation we have found much to celebrate. From the ways in which our institutions have risen to the challenge of supporting their students and staff, to the worldwide embrace of online-learning and institutional cooperation – against the backdrop of the pandemic, a world dealing with a legacy of racism and oppression, and turbulent global politics – working in international education has given us many reasons to hope the struggles of last year will inform a better future.
We will face the challenges of 2021 together.
Very best wishes,
Lee Hammond, ASIC CEO
